Which Teen Patti hand is bigger?

A-2-3. Under standard teen patti rules A-K-Q is the highest sequence and A-2-3 is the second highest, so A-2-3 beats K-Q-J. Some apps rank A-2-3 as the lowest sequence instead, so check the rules screen at your table.

Is K-A-2 or J-A-2 a sequence?

No. A sequence needs three cards in a row. The ace can sit at the top (A-K-Q) or the bottom (A-2-3), but a run cannot wrap round past it, so K-A-2 is not a sequence, and J-A-2 has gaps anyway. Both count by their highest card, or as a colour if all three share a suit.

Can a sequence have cards of the same suit?

Yes, and then it is a pure sequence, which beats every ordinary sequence. A-K-Q of hearts, for example, is a pure sequence and ranks just below a trail.

How a Teen Patti Master round works

1. Boot: every player puts the same fixed amount into the pot to start.
2. Deal: each player receives three cards face down from a single 52-card deck with no jokers.
3. Betting: going round the table, each player bets blind or seen, or packs (folds).
4. Narrowing down: players pack when they judge their hand too weak, and sideshows knock out more players.
5. Show: when two players remain, one can call a show. Both hands are revealed and the better hand takes the pot. If everyone else packs, the last player wins without showing.

Suits never break ties in standard rules. If two hands are completely equal, the player who asked for the show usually loses; some tables split the pot, so agree first.

Blind, seen, show and sideshow

A sideshow is a private comparison with the previous seen player. If they accept, the weaker hand packs. A show is only possible with two players left, and reveals both hands to decide the pot.

Is Teen Patti Master legal and safe?

Legal status: the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 (Act No. 32 of 2025, India Code) came into force on 1 May 2026 under a central government notification issued on 22 April 2026. It prohibits online money games in India, whether they depend on skill, chance or both. Teen patti played for rupees in an app falls under that definition. The Act's penalties target operators, advertisers and payment providers rather than players, but money deposited in an app operating against the law has no protection if withdrawals stop.

Fake APKs: the Teen Patti Master name is widely copied, especially as "new version" or "old version" downloads. Watch for:
